The Bethune Avenue Neighbourhood Centre is one of the 16 areas to be included in the Community High Street programme. This brings funding for the community to establish and start to deliver a vision for change in the area to reinvigorate the high street. What this change looks like is up to the local community, but the work can help to tackle issues such as -
shop vacancy
anti-social behaviour
traffic
graffiti
It can also deliver improvements such as -
community events
green space
seating.
The Bethune Avenue Neighbourhood Centre covers the parade of shops on both sides of Bethune Avenue from Mollison Road to just beyond Gower Road.
Consultation for this Neighbourhood Centre will be happening during future phases of work. If you would like to be kept informed on the programme, select the ‘Subscribe’ button to receive updates via email.
