Hull Fostering is the largest fostering service in the local area.
We approve, support, and pay foster carers, and provide them with ongoing support, guidance, and training to ensure they are effective foster carers. We also work with foster carers and a range of fostering agencies to ensure that children are placed with the most appropriate family.
We are always looking for people to become foster carers in Hull.
In order to encourage people to become foster carers we have run various communications and marketing campaigns.
In this survey we want to understand -
Your experience of fostering / foster care
Your awareness, before today, of Hull Fostering
Whether you have seen any of our promotional material in the last year, and where
How effective you think about our past promotional material is
What would encourage you to foster, if anything, and what prevents you from fostering
You do not need to be a current foster carer, or to be considering becoming a foster carer, to complete this survey. We want to hear from everyone.
Your feedback will help us to understand how we can better support and promote fostering in Hull. Your insights will help shape our future initiatives and ensure we provide the best possible support to our fostering community.
This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. All of your answers are anonymous and will not be tied back to you. There is a section at the end that asks about you. This information helps us to understand your answers, to understand if different groups of people have different views and experiences, and to understand how representative of the population the sample is. You will not be able to be identified from any of your answers and no personal information will be reported.
This survey closes Monday 31st March 2025.
