Music is an important part of Hull’s history but is it also an important part of our future. Hull is looking to apply to become a UNESCO Creative City of Music City.

Help us shape that application and tell us how you feel about music and Hull’s music scene and what memories you may have. We also want to develop a Hull Music exhibition in 2028 to present Hull’s musical past and present - we want you to feed into that too.

Take a few minutes to answer these questions, which will form part of our UNESCO application, and share your stories and any memorabilia for our exhibition.

All completed surveys will be entered into a prize draw to win 2 tickets to The Phantoms (Starring Lee Mead) at Hull City Hall on 25 September 2026.
