Newland Park Conservation Area Public Consultation
Newland Park Conservation Area was adopted by Hull City Council in 1994 and provides heritage protection for the Victorian housing suburb of Newland Park. The Council are in the process of reviewing all of its Conservation Areas, with Newland Park being the fifth area to have been reviewed and subject to public consultation.
For Newland Park the following proposals are being subject to public consultation:
- Changes to the designated boundary of the Newland Park Conservation Area.
- The adoption of a Conservation Area ‘Character Appraisal and Management Plan’.
- The adoption of an Article 4 Direction.
- Nominations for additional entries onto the Hull Local Heritage List.
Following public consultation relevant amendments will be undertaken to the proposed boundary changes and management documents, and they will be returned to Committee and Cabinet for formal adoption.
