Princes Avenue Conservation Area was adopted by Hull City Council in 1994 and provides heritage protection for the privately developed Victorian residential suburb, and later commercial street, of Princes Avenue. The Council are in the process of reviewing its Conservation Areas, with Princes Avenue being the twelfth area to have been reviewed and subject to public consultation.
For Princes Avenue the following proposals are being subject to public consultation:
- The adoption of a new and updated Conservation Area Character Appraisal and Management Plan
- The addition of a building to the Hull Local Heritage List
Following public consultation relevant amendments will be undertaken to the proposed management document and will be returned to Committee for formal adoption.
