Hessle Road Conservation Area Public Consultation
Hessle Road Conservation Area was adopted by Hull City Council in 1994 and provides heritage protection for the Victorian and Edward buildings extending from numbers 172 and 117 to 472 Hessle Road, and to Gillett Street, on its side. The Council are in the process of reviewing its Conservation Areas, with Hessle Road being the sixth area to have been reviewed and subject to public consultation.
For Hessle Road the following proposals are being subject to public consultation -
- The adoption of a new and updated Conservation Area and Management Plan
- The addition of a building to the Hull Local Heritage List
Following public consultation relevant amendments will be undertaken to the proposed management document and will be returned to Committee for formal adoption.
